The Art of Decorating was founded in 1993 by master decorator, Tony Dunne, and his wife, Sue, to bring a superior quality of professional painting and decorating services to clients in central and south west London.

Although we have steadily grown to accommodate large, cyclical painting contracts and partnerships with major housing associations and managing agents, we have retained the traditional values prized by small, family-run companies of providing a personal service with an attention to detail that ensures a job well done.

We are a highly professional painting and decorating contractor, members of the Painting & Decorating Association. We employ all our experienced, expert contractors directly; we do not sub-contract. Our staff are all fully vetted and carry ID cards.

Health & Safety is of paramount importance to us and to ensure our continued compliance with all relevant regulations and recommendations we employ the services of a Health & Safety Consultant. Our safety record is pristine and we are fully insured to the value of £10 million Public & Employers’ Liability Insurance.

We have established an excellent reputation for fostering good relationships with both clients and tenants and we have developed an impressive portfolio of trade partnerships, managing agents and private landlords working on a wide variety of prestigious buildings.
